Cameron KendrickCertified TeacherLebanon , Wilson County, USACameron is a working professional actor having trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and The Royal Academy of Dancing and has developed his skills in Stage Combat throughout his career after being introduced to it whilst still training. He is the youngest of the British Academy of Stage & Screen Combat’s Certified Teachers and qualified at The Lion in Winter Workshop in 2002. Cameron has directed the fights for “The Chrysalids” for the Youth Theatre at Theatre Royal, York; “West Side Story” at the Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead; “Dick Turpin” for the Meppershall Players; Peter Pan” at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, “The Ballad of Little Jo” at the Bridewell Theatre, London and most recently “Kiss me Kate” at the Eric Morecambe Theatre in Harpenden. Film credits include two short films, “Beat” and “Perfect Days” for the London International Film School. As well as traveling all over the UK teaching at Drama and Stage Combat workshops, Cameron is a Drama teacher at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, London; the Gordon Craig Theatre, Stevenage and the resident Stage Combat Teacher at The Samuel Whitbread College in Bedfordshire. He has also taught at the ‘Boil’ workshop in Ruston, Louisiana this Easter Cameron and the “Winter Wonderland” workshop in Chicago as well the first stage combat Workshop in Athens, Greece. |
