Ian Prater

Certified Trainer

Ian Prater trained and is a Certified Teacher with the BASSC. As a teacher, Ian has been on the staff of the BNSCW 2003, The City Lit 2003 Summer School and has deputised as a teacher at RADA, Marymount College (The London Dramatic Academy), The City Lit, Italia Conti, Birmingham School of Speech and Drama and Exeter University. Recent fight directing work includes Romeo and Juliet for Hillingdon Youth Theatre in association with Hyart and Dust for Albany Youth Theatre, in association with the National Youth Theatre.

Most recently he has been teaching extras sword skills and arranging background fights on the feature film Alexander directed by Oliver Stone and due for release in Autumn 2004.

Ian is currently the BASSC Teacher Rep.
