Beginners’ Classes at Stratford Circus

Stage Fighting (Beginners) - Sundays 1-3pm

This is a year-long course administrated by Stratford Circus (http://www.stratford-circus.com/) consisting of three 11 week terms. The weekly class is taught by BASSC certified teachers. The course covers technique and safety in the use of Rapier & Dagger and Unarmed Combat, with emphasis on the theatrical presentation of each system.The course is practical, with the students observing and then participating in the techniques and exercises, while being closely watched by qualified personnel. The focus of the third term is preparing the student for the BASSC Fight Performance Test (FPT), which is at the end of the third term. No prior experience is necessary for participation in this course.

Classes are held at Stratford Circus, Theatre Square, Stratford, London E15 1BX - Stratford Circus has excellent public transport links. The Central Line, Jubilee Line, DLR and Silverlink all run to Stratford Station which is also served by Great Eastern and WAGN railways. Click here to see a local map and transport services.

When?

Classes are on Sunday afternoons, from 1.00-3.00 pm.

How much?

Fees are £90 for the entire year’s course (If you are entitled to a concessionary rate, this course costs just £20)

In order to take the course, you must enrol beforehand. Enrolment is at Stratford Circus on Saturday, 16th September, from 10am - 4pm
